State-of-the-Art

Millennia Mining is working toward connecting every aspect of mining, utilizing the “internet of everything,” by setting up command and control centers that observe all operations through drones, use GPS positioning to know where every piece of equipment is, and managing that equipment online, utilizing autonomous haulage run by computer systems without human operators, bringing in high speed WIFI to all parts of any mining property through a radio transmitter developed by military operation, enabling everyone to communicate in high-rez audio and video. We will utilize drones for 24-7 security on all properties, observation of all mining operations for command and control, and utilize sensing equipment for exploration and underground data collection. We will use the best cybersecurity available, extranets for connectivity and centralization of data in real-time. We will stay connected 24-7 to workers, equipment and all levels of management.

Millennia Mining applies seven principles to mining operations: (1) Optimum Efficiency, (2) Innovation, (3) Technology (4) Quality of Equipment, (5) Quality of Millennia Mining Personnel, (6) Quality of Subcontractors, and (7) Security.

Optimum Efficiency: Millennia Mining works to optimize processes and maximize speed, reducing the timeline of ore mined from the source to the separation facility to production and processing to the refinery. Speed and quality leads to increased productivity and profitability. Millennia Mining will setup a separation facility on adjacent patented property that does not require permitting; this will enable more efficient movement of the ore from the Claims. This approach will save more than 80 percent in transportation costs, and enables processing at 5 times the material, reducing the cost of producing the ore, thereby increasing profitability. Each process will be continually optimized, with upgraded operations to increase speed and efficiency in real time, understanding the impact on the bottom line.

Innovation: The leaders of Millennia Mining have an extensive background in process improvement and technology invention at the highest levels, from Fortune 500 companies to military and government in the United States. It’s a part of Millennia Mining’s DNA. Through research development, Millennia Mining is committed to utilizing scaling methods that create much higher precious metal output from the ore, and lowers the cost of extraction. Millennia Mining will employ new chemicals that are non-toxic, which produce better and faster results than standard cyanide. Millennia Mining will be on the forefront of autonomous systems, including hauling, bull dozing, excavating, conveying, efficient plant equipment, with computers running systems and diagnostics; with greater efficiency and at less cost. Millennia Mining will test new methods of satellite assessment of in-ground assets, currently not available to other mining operations. Online computer technology will be used with drones that organize, manage, assess and manage risk, utilizing high speed radio wave technology throughout the mining areas.

Technology: The mine sites will be fully computerized, along with radio wave technology bringing Wi-Fi connectivity wherever Millennia Mining may be operating: on the mining claim, in the separation facility and production facility, and wherever transport vehicles operate; at living facilities and at offices, communicating with video conferencing. Communication, transfer of files, detailed map reading, programming that runs equipment, integration with drones transferring real-time video, statistics, security and observation will all be seamless. The level of technology Millennia Mining will implement will increase the speed of ore-mined to gold-sold to increase profitability, and provide high levels of security that is necessary.

Quality of Equipment: Millennia Mining will utilize equipment that is more efficient, breaks down less, and is more fuel economical, reducing the cost per ton of operation. Most of the mobile equipment will utilize smart iron, intelligent machine control and human machine interface that gives operator control at a higher level than ever before. Utilizing the top two equipment manufacturers whenever possible enhances reliability, high work equipment speed, greater volume and capacity, lower emissions, fuel economy, lower noise, less fatigue on workers, protection from desert heat, stronger support and service, and overall lower cost of operation, leading to greater profitability. Millennia Mining will have a full contingent of backup equipment to easily replace anything that breaks, and maintain production levels at all times.

Quality of Millennia Mining Personnel: The utilization of highly skilled people will reduce operational inefficiency, while increasing the quality and stability of production. Each worker will be well trained on each piece of equipment and cross-trained on all the other pieces of equipment in their plant.

Quality of Subcontractors: A common practice in the Industry is to utilize expert subcontractors in various areas of operation. Millennia Mining will follow this practice and utilize only the highest skilled and most knowledgeable subcontractors with proven performance as the first level of operations. One of the ore hauling subcontractors being considered is the second largest hauling and aggregate contractor in the Southwest United States.

Security: Security is a major concern when it comes to the mining of precious metals. The processing recovery plants where free gold and other precious metals are removed will have lock boxes built into the machines where the gold and concentrates are collected. Security cameras will record all the steps of processing from start to finish, all the way to the storage room vault. Fencing will be installed around the main processing areas for security and safety. Millennia Mining will use a secure form of transportation to transport precious metals off site. Operational security will also utilize fences, cameras and security guards along with drones and 24/7 video surveillance. With data security being paramount, Millennia Mining will utilize the highest level of technological advancement and innovation in security measures.

Safety: Due to the challenges in the desert from heat, dehydration and poisonous creatures, heath huts with medical personnel will be placed on every property with anti-venom available. A medevac helicopter will be used for medical personnel and medical transport. Fire trucks will be placed on each property and trained hazard and safety officers will be on-site. Workplace safety is also very important: Millennia Mining will offer expertise training in the use of equipment and all equipment will be strongly and methodically maintained.

Knowledge Management Systems: Many of the top executives of Millennia Mining have a background in business process improvement, where current processes are defined and modeled, optomized by increasing output, better customer service, while reducing costs, then encapsulated the optimized process into some form of technology, then roll it out and deploy it through an enterprise, government, agency or Fortune 500 corporation, with the result of increasing productivity and profitability. This type of technology usually involves some form of knowledge management, where all information is collected in real-time into a central core of knowledge, with windows into making that knowledge actionable to different people with different jobs, agendas, needs, and objectives.

Most mining companies have operational silos, where information is used like a relay race, which increases the time to market, from digging ore to the refinery. By centralizing all data into command and control centers, where everything is computerized, wi-fi accessed, GPS tracked, with live drone video, operational efficiencies will be significantly increased. We will use the best commercial-off-the-shelf software systems available, utilize technologies utilized in other industries that we apply to mining, and then apply considerable R&D technology to push to the next levels of automation and intelligent operations.

Autonomous Hauling: An Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) is a comprehensive fleet management system for mines. The dump trucks, which are equipped with vehicle controllers, a high-precision global positioning system (GPS), an obstacle detection system and a wireless network system, are operated and controlled via a supervisory computer, enabling them to be unmanned. Information on target course and speed is sent wirelessly from the supervisory computer to the driverless dump trucks, while the GPS is used to ascertain their position. When loading, the dump trucks are automatically guided to the loading spot after computing the position of the bucket of the GPS-fitted hydraulic excavator or wheel loader. The supervisory computer also sends information on a specific course to the dumping spot.

From a safety perspective, the fleet control system prevents collisions with other dump trucks, service vehicles or other equipment at the mining site. In case an obstacle detection system detects another vehicle or person inside the hauling course under AHS operation, the vehicles will reduce speed or stop immediately, making the system extremely safe and reliable. These will be utilized on an 8 mile section of road between Highway 95 and the Millennia 23AC/PM 27AB mine operations, where they will be allowed to operate.

Conveyor Systems: In addition, Millennia Mining will utilize an 8 mile conveyor system in parallel with the road into the Plomosa Properties, which will also be supervised by a supervisory computer network, reducing costs, increasing safety, and the latest in technology in the mining industry.

Non-Toxic Organic Leaching: Cyanide is used in the majority of gold processing operations simply because it is cheap and effective. It is acutely toxic to humans, other mammals and aquatic species at relatively low dosages.

However, Millennia Mining will use non toxic, non-cyanide based formulas that are economical and effective, as they are reusable and have an effective recovery rate of 99%.  Replacing cyanide with a non-toxic leach extraction stands to reduce environmental, health and safety risks.
